I don't think I'd be willing to have 1 1/2 hours less with my family every day just to commute by bike. And desert winds suck. (I guess technically they blow... never mind.)Suhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11862479925124552922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552468.post-28869508097855685712011-04-23T02:30:04.042-04:002011-04-23T02:30:04.042-04:00I have to admit if I worked 5 miles away that migh...I have to admit if I worked 5 miles away that might be just too much. I've done that before, in my younger days. Not sure if I'm down anymore. My part time job is 8 miles away - which would mean leaving my wife and kid 45 minutes before work if not more - way too much. Not to mention once you leave the city there are desert winds.

excuse, excusesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552468.post-32509932891267639022011-04-22T22:09:57.150-04:002011-04-22T22:09:57.150-04:00@Christy: I now have this great mental image of yo...@Christy: I now have this great mental image of you on a bike + multiple kiddy trailers behind you. Hee!

@Lisa: My butt was displeased the first couple of weeks. But I do have a nice padded seat (on the bike, not on me... okay, on me, too), so that helps.Suhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11862479925124552922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552468.post-52648618473074492792011-04-22T19:20:29.712-04:002011-04-22T19:20:29.712-04:00I think my butt would hate me if I rode a bike to ...I think my butt would hate me if I rode a bike to work.
