I'm obsessive about my compulsiveness... or is it the other way round?

I had this conversation with a coworker today:

Coworker: Susana, what are you doing?
I: I'm going through the paper clip jar and taking out the ones I like.
Coworker: (laughs) Isn't that called obsessive-compulsive behaviour?
I: (brightly) Yes!
Coworker: (still laughing) Okay.
