It's the A to Z Challenge, where every day I share my favourite book or book series that begins with that day's letter.
Finding Peggy: A Glasgow Childhood, Meg Henderson

Not only my favourite 'F' book, but in my top 5 all-time favourites. What's your favourite book that starts with F?
Runner up: Forever Liesl, Charmian Carr
The half-witted, half-baked, half-mad ramblings of a widowed, forty-something, earth-loving, commuter-cycling, theatre-going, runner-girl Christ follower. Abandon seriousness, all ye who enter here.
What are we talking about today?
I'll get back to theme days once I find a groove of posting regularly. In the meantime, most of my posts are about some variation of books, bikes, buses, or Broadway. Plus bits about writing, nonprofits, and grief from time to time.
This blog is mostly lighthearted and pretty silly. It's not about the terrible things happening in the world, but please know that I'm not ignoring those things. I just generally don't write about them here.

I couldn't think of a book I liked starting with F off the top of my head - the only ones I could think of I dislike intensely (e.g. Far from the Madding Crowd!)

Blogging from Alpha to Zulu in April
for me-anything having to do with film:)
Jemima: I've had that problem for a couple of letters!
Birgit: Nice!
My favourite childhood book starting with F was Folk of the Faraway Tree :)
That sounds lovely!
Forrest Gump, every time!
