What are we talking about today?

I'll get back to theme days once I find a groove of posting regularly. In the meantime, most of my posts are about some variation of books, bikes, buses, or Broadway. Plus bits about writing, nonprofits, and grief from time to time.

This blog is mostly lighthearted and pretty silly. It's not about the terrible things happening in the world, but please know that I'm not ignoring those things. I just generally don't write about them here.

Everybody knows about: Just because there are puppets doesn't mean this musical is for kids.

I have thoughts: I've seen may references to this show but never the show itself. I think I would probably see it if I were in the right mood--at first glance it's not my kind of thing, but on the other hand I've seen enough sweary and racy musicals that one more probably wouldn't kill me.

with song a song title : the internet is for porn, i would imagine that it would be very twisted indeed. i've listened to quite a few of them when i had satelite music channels.

i think i would have trouble watching it not for the content but because they look so much like muppets and sesame street characters.

I don't keep up with musical theater like I used to. Seems like from what I think I remember hearing about this one I don't think I'd care for it. A lot of musicals just don't seem as wholesome as they used to be.

@djinnia: The school version is considerably tamer.

@Arlee: This one is definitely not wholesome, although I don't know about "as they used to be." There's plenty of old stuff that's also not.
